Overview:

Originally designed and developed for the SEGA Mega Drive and SEGA Genesis, Pier Solar is a turn-based RPG with state-of-the-art aesthetics about the journey of three young heroes from the city of Reja. In this prosperous and peaceful city, three best friends live: Hoston, Alina and Edessot. Young and curious, they want to go in search of herbs to help cure the mysterious illness of Hoston's father. Little do they know... it will be the beginning of their life journey, where they will learn the true meaning of friendship and the thrill of adventure.

My process of creating levels was to understand the premise of the game. Making it possible to create narrative elements that maintain the connection of levels created by com, levels before and after them, within the game.

I started with a search for reference in the real world, mainly from forests in Europe and cities in the Middle East. After my search for references, I made the sketches of the map layout already planning on top of every premise built around the level.

After feedbacks and the whole iterative process, I reached the end of creating the levels.
